Had alot of fun with the very talented and fast-learning students at Shenton College a few months ago. Their very proactive teacher Mrs. Kee was game enough to stand in for a tardy model and had her head fully-encased in alginate for a lifecast. The students thoroughly enjoyed this as Mrs. Kee could not talk during the whole process but I am sure that she heard everything!
During the workshop, the students worked with Alginate, Clone FX (AKA lifecasting silicone), plaster and plaster bandage.
Even though there were a few teething problems with a few bubbles and such, the Shenton College students showed their mettle. Once they knew how to clean, correct or fix an issue, they were onto it.
Well Done Shenton College!
